Higher levels dont help, higher difficulties dont help. those are the only ways possible right now to stop the ease igni provides. Its like downgrade all intensities or stop using igni alltogether. Igni stays powerful at the cost of other signs. So if I downgrade my intensity my other signs suffer. If you have high sign intensity it still puts the burn damage. I have put the least possible points in igni to get just firestream and checked it out. I just want firestream cuz it LOOKS and FEELS badass. PS.: I had posted a video about this ( ), but after killing 2 cyclops and 3 wyverns and 1 basilisk which were all 7-10 lvls ahead of my lvl 12-13 geralt I just felt something might not be rightĬlick to expand.Nope. I will always be supporting you till you keep delivering such quality products Also if the huge burn damage is a bug kindly fix it.Īlso, CDPR, I enjoy the game and I thank you for the hours of joy you guys have given me. But somehow I do not feel the need to struggle to get a good shot of igni. I like to position myself to burn groups and I think it looks badass. I know that some people might say, "If you don't like it, don't use it". The ignite duration is easily higher than stamina regen and hence it becomes a permanent lock. Half of the stamina bar is enough to set a group on fire. Many ignited enemies just get locked in place struggling in the flames. Already igni puts a huge permanent percent armor debuff and then also burns off chunks of hp. But it seems way too overpowered right now. I know a flat sign damage would be useless to the higher levels of Geralt except armor reduction and this would reduce the incentive of playing a damager mage geralt. The difficulty lvl was set to hardest possible. I could easily reduce a lvl 21 cyclops when I was barely lvl 10 or 11 just by putting the buff on him repeatedly and dodging his attacks which would one-shot kill me if they hit. I observed that the lasting ignite/burning damage buff placed by the igni sign kinda seems to burn chunks of HP off even much stronger opponents. I really don't know if this is a bug or just the overpowered nature of the spell so I am posting in GD.
